About the Resort

This eco‑luxury resort sits inside a 325‑acre protected nature reserve just 15 minutes from Playa del Carmen.

Guests can explore mangrove forests, swim or kayak in three freshwater rivers, visit ten cenotes, and spot more than 130 animal species and 120 types of flora throughout the property.

The resort is intentionally designed to protect the land, with low‑impact architecture, locally sourced materials, and guided nature experiences that highlight the region’s biodiversity.

Hacienda Tres Ríos is now transitioning into Kimpton Hacienda Tres Ríos, Kimpton’s first all‑inclusive resort in the world.

The resort has been undergoing a multi‑year renovation to align with Kimpton’s boutique‑luxury style.
