We had annual passes to the theme park when we lived in KL, and stayed at the resort a couple of times a year.
Pro Tip: Buy a 1-Day Pass in advance and upgrade to an Annual Pass at the park. You get a much better deal than pre-buying the Annual Pass online.
In addition to the massive water park, there are rides and roller coasters, an adventure park with go-karts and archery, and even a zoo.

We spent Christmas at this idyllic retreat one year with some friends on a family staycation in Malaysia and enjoyed it.
Unlike other resorts on this list, Sea Gypsy Village is a mostly inclusive glamping resort.
This means that it provides all the meals and basic beverages, like water and juice, but alcoholic beverages are extra.
It also offers individual bungalows for guests, but they are rustic. There is no AC or hot water.
